Hitting the ball or making a swing at the ball
5) Tee Box
A designated area from where the players hits the first stoke on a hole.
6) Par
The standard score a player is expected to make for a hole or a course (sum of all the holes).
7) Bogey
A score of one over par.
8) Birdie
A score of one under par.
9) FairwayThe area of the course between the tee and the green.
10) Handicap
A number assigned to each player based on his ability and used to adjust each player's score to provide equality among the players.
